Hey look you can change range on the fly....

And when you do if you get it wrong the LT95's tcase develops this in its oil...img124.jpg And this img125.jpgis what happens to your high range gear, which BTW will now no longer select. And for that reason thisimg126.jpg is on ALL military rovers.... Who knows whats happened to the dogs and selector rung on this one..

I know that this gear box and tcase was in good nick as I was involved in the install and the running in of it the run in oil came out mickey mouse and with 250km on the box it was handed over. So in less than 50 km A tcase was rooted, why? cause apparently someone cant read.

Reminds me of what happens when you employ a road train driver who selects and splits "mystery gear" on a 13 speed Road Ranger.

    What is "getting it wrong"?

I was under the impression it wasn't detrimental to change range at a low speed as long as you shift into "neutral range" in the process.

Ahh, I see where the confusion has set it. When you drive down a road and get it wrong MVC-001S1.JPG this is more or less what happens to your rover.

When you get the shift the tcase on the fly thing wrong the first post has the pics of what happens inside your tcase...

    Clear enough...
