from the sound of it is for a defender and the airtec one does not require movement of aerial but safari needs it bent or relocated whichever you prefer.

There is a private guy around Sydney, he supplies and installs at your home. let me know if you want the number. 4wd mega store installed mine and broke the drill bit when they drilled the hole on the disco. It was a ugly site..... and then they made me pay full price. I was not happy.

someone in england does a dam good copy of a safari (with only just looking at a safari from the outside its identical including the head). We have bought 3 of these, and had them delivered on our doorstep for around $290au each. I bought them off the 3rd seller listed below for 111 pounds, but it looks like he has put his prices up since. No trouble fitting them, however 1 bolt is a bit tricky to get to. I also had to cut about 100mm off the top of the upright, as it was way higher than my roof (and uneven with the 200tdi safari snorkel on the other side). Steer clear of the very early safari ones too if you find one 2nd hand, they are a smaller diameter than the later model ones.

When I fitted my safari snorkel the instructions said to bend the bottom bracket for the aerial and lean the aerial backwards a bit.
The hose that comes of the snorkel goes through that area.
From memory I didn't have to bend the bracket I just detached the bottom of the aerial and tilted the whole thing.
