Oops...already had a 2" spring lift on mine and it didn't seem to make any difference...okay maybe a little understeer

Thanks Jeff...decisions to be made. Appears that even with good makes some have had troubles. Still might go with the ox.

At Leyland Truck & bus in the seventies on Series III, policy was to fit only PTO winches, nearly 100% Thomas/Shute Upton, and nearly all mechanical drive, with a few hydraulic drive. LR sourced capstan winches were fitted in small numbers, usually for specialist applications, or for people who had previously had one and liked it. The hydraulic ones were usually govt. or corporate customers. Price? Electric winches were left to dealers and clients to fit. LT&B wanted nothing to do with them.

If you are concerned about weight I think the hydraulic Ox winch is considerably lighter than the electric ones.
Connection is pretty simple so long as you have easy access to the power steering hoses. Access was easy in my Rodeo.
