    I had 2 X 109" suffix G S2a's both 1970 production (or maybe one was a 1971.) However one had a Rover rear diff the other had a Salisbury.

    When you look at the March 1969 S2a Workshop Manual only the ENV and Rover diffs are mentioned, however by the Feb 1972 S2a Parts Catalogue the Salisbury diff is listed as interim.

    My guesstimate would be 1971 for the date of Salisbury diff introduction.
