It sounds right Four Wheel Drives want $137.50 for them in thier catalogue.
I personally choose to use Stainless Steel Resleeved ones as often putting seals in the leaking one often only lasts a while.

yep dont bother replacing the seals unless the bore and pistons are mickey mouse.

Cheaper ones can be had from a seals place but you need to know EXACTLY what your after cause if they see a brake master cylinder they will simpley say, No goto a brake place.

If you are talking the rubbers that go between the reservoir tanks and the cylinder then yes you can buy them seperately. Up here in Qld I was quoted $40 from two different places just for those two rubbers so I bought the entire kit from Paddocks and pulled the master cylinder down and did the lot. Cost was 20 pounds plus 10 pounds postage (package had other things in it too).

thanks for your replies. yes its just the seals between the res and the bmc. tried getting a quote off stuart webster ssangyong (were a LR dealer till they lost the franchise) who still does LR spares, but they are real lax. ie leave your phone number and we will get back to you etc, but never do.
i just want these rubbers as the bmc is still mickey mouse.

Well if you are looking for suppliers the two places I rang were:

    Rick's 4wd Centre
    http://www.ricks4wdcentre.com/contact.htm

    FWD Motors
    http://www.fwd-motors.com.au/

    They definately had them.
LR only supply them as part of a kit (either the cylinder kit or the reservior kit).

I just googled pictures of the RTC5834 kit (early D1 kit) and the reservior rubbers look the same as the later kit (STC2901). So it would pay to check with a regular brake place. We must just be used to not even bothering with the regular places as LR owners.

While I was googling I found one Oz supplier of LR parts wanting $311 for the RTC5834 kit People wonder why we sometimes order stuff from the UK.

Looking for the same Brake Reservior seals

I am also looking for the identical rubber mounts (seals) for the same 96 Disco as Andy.
The Brake Reservior is mounted on these rubbers. LR dealer in Sydney only supply the entire kit for $130 (or more at some places).
These are just 2 small rubber grommet mountings - should not be worth more than $20 (even each) !!!

Can anyone confirm where in Sydney I can pick these up from ??
