    Winch controller mount suggestions

Have installed the winch on my D2 and looking for suggestions as to where to put the controller box. Ideally I want it out of sight and up high to keep it dry. Anyone got any ideas?

    thanks

I mounted mine in the middle of the bullbar on top of the winch, easy to get too.

If you hide it out of the way, all it means is it will be a pain to get at when you need too use it.

Although not on a D2 on my RRc I disassembled the contents of the box and mounted the individual items inside the headlight compartment. Subsequently after a vehicle re-build control relays are mounted in-behind the bumper bar (between the chassis) in the space to the side of the winch. The socket is remote mounted

It all works fine, the mud etc. rarely gets anywhere near the relays and the control box doesn't obstruct any airflow to the radiator etc.
