    Defender: Rear Diff Breather?

I'm currently extending my breathers and just wondering where to run the rear diff breather? Recommendations are the back of the engine bay but seems like an overkill. Any thoughts?

Mine are there, if you think about it, most of the places at the back are under the car, in the wheel well, not very high up.

Maybe up the back of the tail lights if there is a cavity like the Disco has.

    Cheers Baz.

Having it route into the engine bay makes it easier to run to the snorkle (if you wanted to go higher). Otherwise, how far up past the tail lights can you go?

    Me too

Not that difficult, just a length of 6mm plastic hose from memory. Looped around a couple of times and next to the gearbox breather hoses. I didn't bother with a fuel filter ... couldn't really see the need.

You'd be surprised the crap that some of "that other lot" come up with in the way of what's really necessary ....
