It really just confirms what others have said.
Haha, excellent, I've played a little with CAD for schematic wiring diagrams, but thats all

Is that 40MM around the circumference or in a straight line?
It has to be in a straight line because that is the final amount that the pin has to move.
I believe that you need a longer lever , about 34 MM to be exact, if you are making a 4HP22 Kickdown.

Straight line, you'd think I'd just look at the kickdown setup on a wreck, but they're not at home (all my work is done elsewhere) and I was just pondering

Yes kickdown and throttle cable for commodore throttle body and 4HP22

I checked and the calculation was for the arc, not straight line.
You also have to make the lever in the shape of an inverted "L" , so that the cable and pin holder can rotate without fouling the lever. So the lever itself is in a more upright position than 45% , but the hole for the cable pin is at 45% to the fulcrum.

Yep, it will actually be a T of sorts, to accomodate the throttle cable aswell

Had to make whole new bracket to hold both cables aswell, its all working a treat, just finished before, Night shift tonight

Need to pull it all off and clean the welds up, cut the dags of and paint it, will have to be next week, then get a roady and reg.........oh after I remount the puta's under the dash somewhere
