Gday all,
I've got a IIa with an LT95 gearbox. Does anybody know if a Series3 or County etc clutch master cylinder will happily marry up with a IIa pedal cluster by any chance, or if I will need to change across to a SeriesIII clutch pedal? My IIa clutch MC has just packed in while bleeding unfortunately and so I've never been able to test it properly.
TIA
Cheers

In terms of changing over the whole pedal assembly, thats what I've already done for the brake pedal. The brakes are running Landcruiser booster/MC etc on a SeriesIII pedal assy, and in terms of fitting, the only real difference related to the way the pedal pivots. As a result I had to cut the pedal slot further up the firewall. Doing this to fit a SeriesIII clutch pedal wouldn't be a big issue either if thats whats needed. I guess if the Series3 or County MC will fit the IIa clutch pedal, then I can just order one up from four wheel drives, whereas getting a complete clutch pedal assy is not quite as seemless as visiting my friendly LR wrecker is normally a half day affair.

im fairly sure that the Clutch MC can be had from a trailer shop that sells the bits for doing hydraulic brakes on trailers.

Series 2/2a/3, 110, Defender, clutch master cylinder and clutch pedal assembly are all interchangeable as far as I can see. Certainly the 2/2a/3 and 110 clutch pedal assembly are identical except for the actual pedal on the 110. As Blknight says, the master cylinder with reservoir is readily available from any trailer supply shop.
