About $3000 ($2950 I think, including delivery to Adelaide).

There are 2 models, one with an overhead system and one where all the cables go across the floor. I liked the idea of a clear floor, so I paid another $150 or so to get the overhead model.

    2 post hoist

The first pages of my disco manual say not to use a two post hoist - must be a balance thing

3.5 Tonnes lift (it is actually a 9000Lb hoist).

If you want the details of the guy in Australia to contact let me know and I'll dig up his email. He was very good to deal with.

They organised transport from Sydney to Adelaide and I just put it up with the help of 2 friends. It took about 4 hours and a dozen or so beers.

    Cheers
    David

David, I would'nt mind that contact

Found an old email to him.

His name is Clive Broad, and his email is tufflift@hotmail.com . I had his phone number but seem to have lost it. I called him up to chat about concrete thickness, power supply and shed height it and he was very friendly and helpful.

Can you remember what was the recommended concrete thickness? I wouldnt be real keen on cutting holes in the slab and fitting deeper foundations...........
For 3k, its very very tempting.........

Just rang my local distributor -very helpful.

Recommended slab thickness is 150mm. Seems the non clear floor version might be better for 4WD's due to the bar accross the top which would reduce working height if a high vehicle was on the hoist.

Freight cost is reasonable as well...........
