Now I've Got all the Bits!

Well today I picked up all the bits for a CDL in the Disco (mine ws one of those with NONE of the bits). Thanks to Fred Smith Automotive (Bayswater)who really does know his Landies and is very free with his advice etc.
I got the full LR limkage set so it'll all be run off the stubby lever rather than going for the AMV electric job.
Should all be fitted up over the next few weeks..... CAN'T WAIT!!

Just had the gearbox out to repair torque converter, before replacing I added a 2" lever to the shift bolt. Now I can slide under ,grab lever and select lock.
I dont use difflock much so it was a cheeppe job.(just got to show the missus how)

I only wish mine could have been so simple Tracker.... I got one of the ones without the CDL in the transfer case. Hence, I had to buy the complete front section which contains the dog clutch, I was lucky in that I was able to get a second hand genuine LR linkage with it so will be able to activate the CDL just like the 'normal' ones

    CDL linkage D2

I bought the series 1 linkage and put that in

you have the get the cast mounting from the d1, but it bolted straight on

Took a bit of mucking aroung with the plates where the gear stick goes through - but works perfectly

    cost me $170
