    D2 rear seat wont lock in

    The rear fold down seat wont lock in on the DII, any ideas??

    Are they not locking into the first position or is it when you try lay the back rest back that it was go back?

    I had this problem and I think it was something to do with the lanyard strap. I had to pull it to the side to make sure it would foul on anything and then it would lay back.

    I hope you can understand that... lol

    You are correct Angus

    Just pull the strap to 'reset' the mechanism and then slam it down

    The upright will not go up until the base is locked in.

    I had this proboblem in mine a while back, but we ended up having the seat frame replaced under warranty, no matter what we did it just wouldnt latch.

    Man, I had this problem a while back. Spent ages trying to work out why the seat back would not lock in.
    As some others have mentioned, it was just because the base had not clicked in properly
