300 Series Tdi, 6 L sump capacity, plus .65 L when fitting new filter.

I use a Mann and Hummel filter and Mobil synthetics.

The LR filter part number is ERR3340, Ryco Z89A, Mann W930/20 (near impossible to get, I order interstate), Baldwin B74.

Oils to use that are affordable and available easily: Caltex Delo 400, Mobil Delvac MX 15W40, BP Vanellus C7, Castrol Magnatec Diesel, Penrite HPR 15, Penrite HPR 5, Castrol GTX Diesel, Castrol Agri Power Plus

Check the Oil manufacturers website, they all have a recommendation tool, just punch in your vehicle and it gives the recommended products and capacities.

    HTH!

When you drain the oil, have a funnel ready to direct the stream into a tray - otherwise the stream hits a steering linkage rod and splits into two making catching both streams a challenges. Also removing the oil filter creates a mess.

Jacking up the front or facing uphill fixes that.
