I think I'd like to see some hard evidence by independent research that these products are doing what they are marketed as to be doing. It makes you wonder damage they may be doing. If they really are that good why don't the manufacturers recommend them or maybe the oil companies. The stuff must be pretty strong in terms of small volumes used too. Do they show ingredients on the side? Do they provide MSDS?

ring em and ask, they are more than happy to provide the details..

i trialed it over a couple of years and it works great.

if you go to the trouble of actually investigating it you will find it is used in multiple ways not just a full on flushing agent. the value pack has the oil treatment and the fuel treatment.

it had the same affect on my last 300tdi as hauling a very heavy trailer for a few 100klms.

it made the motor run smooth as ...

if you never haul a big load with your diesel this stuff does a very nice job of deglazing the bore like hauling a big load does.

    excellent value for money imho

no relationship with em other than buying their gear.

about to order some more actually...

I took your advice and called them up ( CEM ) , asked a few questions & ordered the value pack. Thanks incisors.

it always helps to hear it from someone who has used a product and has proof it actually does what it's supposed to do.

I have been using clean power fuel addetive for about 7 years and i find it works well - definate power increase and less smoking. I have also used the flushing oil concentrate - I note that my oil stays cleaner longer after an aoil change - and the first coupld of oil changes there was a larger than normal amount of oily sludge that came out and was left in the oil drain pan.

I too am scheptical of oil addetives - remember that bloke that used to go around shows and field days with the statesman that didnt run oil at all...

but im happy with it and it works for me -

oil changes with helix diesel (somewhere) between 5,000 and 10,000 clicks - im not real religious - or certainly not as good as i should be - but at least im honest about it!

I've never used any these products before... do you add the FOC to your old oil just prior to an oil change? And is the Injector cleaner just added once in a while or do you add it to every tankfull?

They recomend for the first use drop old oil refill with cheap shyte oil and the FOC to the required amount which the bottle says at 12.5 ML to the litre of oil then run engin at fast idle for 20-30min drop oil and filter then refill with new oil ...

Then for routine maintenance ad 2.5ML per litre 1/2 -1 hr before change and run engin normaly and then do the routine oil change with filter and oil
