Is it a Disco bar?

Does your Disco have airbags?

Is it an airbag compatible bar?

If the answer to these questions is no yes no then theres not much any one can do.

If the answer is yes no no or yes yes yes or yes no yes then theres no reason that you couldnt fit it with the help of a mate.

Just make sure you find out what the correct size and tensile of bolts are used and only use New bolts and Nyloc nuts and any washers etc that may have to be used.

ARB don't make a sahara bar for the Disco1 and they are only fitters. They don't modify anything. They say it is a 2000 on because the Disco2 came out in 1999 (so maybe 1999 on?) and that is what it is made for and won't just bolt on to a Disco1.

That doesn't stop you from buying one and modifying it yourself though. However if you were to do that I would imagine it would screw with the airbag rating.

I made mine for my D1. It isn't a sahara bar but it does have the light clusters in it. Have a look at my avatar and you'll see it. It's airbag compatible to boot. If you want any info on it or photos, I can get them for you

Yhea thanks, im thinking of changing the bullbar to the sahara bar from the poxi smart bar that was on it when i brought it. but im not going to change it if i carnt have the sahara bar, if anyone hase seen bushies truck on the shed that what im after only on my d1
