I think Gilchrist puts a squash ball in his gloves so as to have a loose grip on his bat??? I'd suggest a hard rubber ball behind the accelerator pedal so you dont push it so heavily. One size wont fit all - same may use a foam ball, others a junior cricket training ball, another a competition cricket ball... (or whatever fits behind the pedal).

Had a V8i Disco here last year, customer went on a trip to central afrika with it. He made me take out the katalytic converters, we rebuit the distributor, replaced leads plugs, and some other bits and pieces.
She drove like a different car, not road leagel any more, but she returned around 14Ltrs to the 100km not bad.

http://www.pillard.ch/photos/westafrica2006-07 some pic. of the disco and the trip it did

    regards Richard

Gday Pat,easiest way to tell (and this goes for any vehicle) is look at the temp gauge,it will read way under normal,also...feel the temp on upp & low rad hoses, one should be much colder than the other!
