DII V8 - how long should coil packs last
Hi all - My 02 D2 4.0 Manual had its coil packs and leads changed at 60,000k. Its now got 110,000 on her and she is getting a bit less than spritley - not missing but just a bit doughy. Thats been happening for about a month. Now on LPG is backfired today - which is usually a sure sign that spark is getting less than flash. It was at idle and just about to go up a small hillock about a foot high - first gear put foot down a little and the revs were low and she was using its torque at idle and boom. I had new Platinum plugs 20,000k ago, so they will be fine, and new leads for LPG then also alongwith a new MAF. I reckon it can only be the coil packs again....
What gives with these bloody coil packs....if you on petrol only you might not notice it and think its your imagination or look for MAF problems.
Cheers
