So it appears that the CBs in my old tractor might just be of the cheaper type - I didn't know there were good and bad ones. I replaced them a few years ago with ones from an auto-electrician that were similar to the originals. It might be time to find some better ones, as its not real good having the lights go out whilst doing night spraying etc.
