Fender Xtreme advice please!
Hi guys,
Just had an hour's test drive in a 2001 model with 236000 on the clock.
What can I say, it felt great! Pulled well, stopped well, no rattles or clunks (apart from when clutching out, a little bit af a gear backlash 'crash' but I can chase that one if I go for it).
20 grand and it's mine. It has 100% dealer service history. It's beautiful!
What do you think, time bomb or go for it?
There's a small matter of clearing it with the boss, who's in QLD at the moment, but hey, I'm an optimist

Have had a good think and will have to let this one go; we move into our new house in two weeks and I can't stretch the dollars that far.
But! Have secured a promise from the boss that '08 is the year I can post as 'Defender Owner'
