Thread: Series 3 question

Hi all,

can anybody tell me if a petrol Series 3 uses the same pushbutton switch for something that the diesel uses for the glow plugs? Also, does anybody know where I could get one of those switches???

Because I had to dispose of some of my electrics, I have a couple of...ummm... vacancies in the instrument panel. I would like to use one of those "glowplug" switches for my windscreen washer setup.

Looks kinda link a chromeplated M12 nut with a little black button sticking out of it...
Any ideas? Anybody got one? PLEASE...

That little push button thingy is indeed the windscreen washer switch and you should be able to get one either new or S/hand from Four Wheel drives in Melbourne (landrovers.com.au) or from Kevin Baker at KB Classis Spares in Qld (07)5494 4221 they are a Lucas Switch and were used on several makes of English vehicles.
