I used a 22mm hole saw to make the hole in the liner. Run it backwards to start to avoid tearing the vinyl. The first pic shows the position on a 130 HPU
The acetyl plugs are 22mm dia and are cut square on one end and about 20 deg spline on the the other. About 25mm on the longest side. I inserted the acetyl rod and marked it hard up and level against the metal angle. Each one was slightly different as the liner is quite uneven.
Pre drilled a hole and ran in a metal thread self tapper. Also put a large washer on the end of the plug to spread the load
Rock solid, will hold full body weight
The only down side is the handle only helps a little getting in and out of the cab, but she loves it on rocky tracks
