You will have no problems at all with a 2" lift and that's as far as you can go legally in WA, I don't know which state you are in?
Lots of people go the 2" with no mods.

I'm not sure about a 3" lift but I'm sure someone will shout up.

Not long ago I raised my 96 Disco by new springs came to 60mm higher, bump stop clearance is about 140mm rear and 110mm front I think from memory and has had no detrimental effect to handling and no driveline vibration to speak of. So you shouldn't have any problems.
