Thread: Exhaust manifold leak - repair advice

I havnt looked for tell tales or sucked CRC through the guts (sans the Air mass sensor before doing it!). Is is more likely just to be loose manifold...and how hard is the change of gasket or fix for either of the problems if its not just loose bolts (with weird heads).

My d2 v8 used to crack the manifolds just under the top flange where it joins from 3 pipes to 1, it was welded on several times on both sides while i had it, with the last weld job done very heavily to keep it from happening again, i had planned to get some extractors to replace the stock pipes but never got around to it. I would start by checking for leaks there.
