Oh Crap, I don't think I asked AAMI about adding mine it was the only thing I forgot on a big list. I hope they will add it. Otherwise I'm not sure where to go!

Yeah ok, so I miss worded!!

A lot of manufacturers of vehicles are only fitting one Key-point to actuate the door locks...

    Hi Mike,
    Why do they do it???
I have had D2 owners locked out of their rear cargo area with a cargo barrier fitted, the CL actuator failed/ jammed and is part of the latch in the tailgate!!!(Similar to Freelander and P38a)

Now THAT was a silly idea, removing the tailgate key hole!!!!!!!and relying on electrics to unlock it.(At least they aren't LUCAS electrics, but still....)

Blknight, if I'd had some speaker wire, it would have been in the back behind the cargo barrier.
Just glad to find this all out when I had the time and help handy and not in the Simpson.
What I wont be doing is driving any where with the Dog in the back.

    turbo timer

You will also find most insurance companies won't cover you if one fitted to vehicle, the argument being the vehicle engine is running whilst cabin is driverless and vehicle should be left locked with engine off, in park, hand brake on and NRMA ran a couple of big campaigns wanting them to be illegal if fitted to vehicle and there were 1 or 2 cases of people being run over by vehicles with engine running time on and vehicle empty as driver hadn't hand braked and put transmission in park

Well, I just found out that this morning my mechanic called AAMI and argued with them that I should be permitted the turbo timer and it seemed to go up the ranks in AAMI and someone finally said "okay, we'll allow it". So even though I'm under 25 they let it go and allowed me to have it. Mind you it seemed to take 10 minutes or more of my mechanic arguing with them over it. And I must say what a good guy to spend the time on the telephone and do that for me and all I did was send him an email about the possibility of removing it.

P.S. The lady he spoke to seemed to think it controlled how the turbo runs and that the timer is connected the turbo itself
