    Rangie bobtail softop.

Anyone here know of a 2dr rangie that has been given the softop treatment with or without a bobtail ? I saw a nice FJ40 swb softie at Cowes yesterday and now thinking since i have uted my rangie its not much more work to make it a soft top. Comments on the engineering aspects of the conversion would be appreciated.

    Nick.

Not that kind of bobtail exactly, more a softop 2dr rangie minus a few inches.

Andrew Richmond (LRA) had an orange rangie 4 door that was bobbed and modded to have 2 door rear panels and soft top.

Maybe get in touch with him as he could give you the in's and out's of it all.

They made it more so he still had a back seat for the kids I think but I recon it would all work in ute form as well.
