    Poly-Airs or similar

Where have members located the valves on their vehicles. Particularly interested in those who have fitted to a D2.

I've fitted mine to a bracket I made that fits under an Anderson plug that is attached to my rear bumper bar. I figured it was a good spot as it is protected by the tow bar underneath. It worked well as I needed a spacer between the Aderson plug and the bumper bar anyway.
The only issue on a D2 is that I only just had enough hose supplied with the Polyairs to reach the back (with some slack so that the springs can still be removed). Your D2 is a bit longer that my D1 so you may not have enough hose.

I've fitted mine to the top of the rear DS bumperette. They're out of the way there, don't get torn off and when loading/unloading they're protected by the rear door.
    Cheers

My Polyair valves are simply fitted to the rear bumper. They are mounted underneath, directly behind the rear springs and just inboard of the rear lamps/reflector.

Dito Mine are located behind the tow bar on the rear bumper.. Only down side is that if ther bumper got ripped off the tubes would be damaged .

PS: I diddnt have any problems with the lenth of the tube. I actually was supplied with to much with i just coiled up next to the chassie.

By the way Slunnie you never posted the pics of your install I dont think.
