    TD5 Fuel Filter Replacement Interval

    I know this has probably been brought up before but I had a search and couldn't find how often the Fuel filters on Disco 2 TD5's should be changed?

    My copy of Rave states every 40000klms but I replace ours every 20000klms

    same, check it every 10, replace it every 20 but Im getting a good deal on filters so I dont mind so much.

    LR every 40,000kms but I do ours every 20,000kms to be safe.
    Dave (Blinknight) let us in on the cheap filter supplier.

    four wheel drives down in melbourne, I purchase the full kit from them their catalog, its about the cheapest IVe seen all 4 filters in one go.

    How do you check that the TD5 fuel filter needs changing? Surely not just because there's water in the drain?

    You can not really check it apart from water, the only way to check it is to cut it open.
