    Coolant thermostat for 3.9L v8

    Hi,

I'm about to replace the coolant thermostat on my Disco but note that the replacement (Tridon TT1-180) is marked 82 degrees (should be 88 degrees acc. Rave) and the vent hole is much smaller.

This part is listed for the car in the Tridon catalog.

Can anyone please confirm whether this a suitable substitute?

    Thanks,

    JRH1946

    Yes 88c.
82C is uncomfortably close to 80C when the ECU richens the mixture.

TT1-192 is the correct number. (192DegF is 88degC)
