what were you trying it on, near as i can figure its a cross between something like penetrene and the co2 cooler cans for electronic diagnostics. so it should have worked just on the principal of the lube thats in it alone.

the instructional promo video you can get for it does identify but not actualy mention the fact that it works better when your trying to shrink a bolt or stud out of a hole rather than shrink a nut off of a bolt....

    Here's the MSDS

Uses a Naphtha based lubricant and hydrocarbon. I suspect the cooling comes from a highly pressurized can and a fine nozzle. I notice in the sales blurb it only cools by 43C so I suspect it would also depend on the metals you spray it o as to how much they contract. Might not work on everything.

There's always liquid nitrogen if you want to break things

Living in the country with no real mechanical back up available locally I tend to be real carefull when undoing stuff that may snap, brake fluid is my favorite weapon.Once busted out comes the mig if possible.
How much do they peddle the stuff for, your first unborn child I suspect.
Will get a can for the next time I need to freeze my nuts.
    Thanks
