    County LT95 Gearbox

I have a problem with my Isuzu 3.9 Diesel county LT95 gearbox.
It sticks in first and second gear after I pull up.
I can not get it out of gear with the clutch down.
It only come out of gear after I turn the engine off.
I have also tried to take the transfer case out of gear and it won,t change either until I stop.
I have changed the oil back to engine oil as the book says.
The next thing i was thinking of was the clutch travel.
Anyone had a similar problem ???

It is almost certainly the clutch travel. I would first of try bleeding the system and then try again when it has all new fluid in it. Also check the adjustment of the pedal as per the manual if you can. Can't remember the specs off hand.

pray you dont get whats happened to a forigner Im doing at work, the clutch plate has about a 1/4 inch warp in it and its off center by a couple of mm...

only took me 3 weeks to work it out given that it was a new clutch plate.

    clutch

I have now rebuilt the slave and master cylinder.
The slave cylinder had some gritty sandy stuff in it so I need a wading plug.
I will have to see how it goes now I haven't tried it yet.
I found the the clutch rod has been made by someone out of a engine push rod. The did a good job of making it.
If the gear changing doesn't improve I would suspect that the rod may be the wrong length.
Does anyone have a LT95 4BDI clutch rod that they could measure for me.
Don't take it out from you gearbox though as it took me 3 hrs with bits of wire, mirror and torch to get the little plastic clip back on the rod and clutch arm.

If the clutch has been OK in the past then it probably is an issue with the master/slave cylinder.
The push rod does look like an engine push rod. The Isuzu and the V8 as far as I know are the same push rod. The difference in the Isuzu and V8 is the release bearing housing, the Isuzu is much longer. I have a picture in the gallery.

    same

I hope it's not the gearbox don't feel like doing a gearbox ATM.
It still sticks in reverse, 1st and second. And that is not all the time.

The Push rod is hollow like an engine push rod, that's what made me think that it was home made. And thats what makes me think it could be that.
