    Brake pad connectors

Does anyone know where to buy a matching socket for the plugs that come on brake pad connectors please?
If these are a wire buried in the brake pad material, it woule not be difficult to connect this to a light on the dash, Pad earths to disk...light comes on .

Yes - But my humble disco is not fitted with a brake pad light, and I'd like to fit one. To save changing the brake pad connector every time I change to pads, I'd like to fit the matching plug from the start. If I can find where to buy them this would be good. The dealer just says they come with a new harness only, now there's no need for that.

btw my 1970 citroen had the same set up - its not a new idea -

Are you suggesting I buy a Rangie , snip off the plugs and discard the rest - seems a bit extreme -

No not at all...but....Maybe try and find a wrecked rangie and go and cut them off. Or go and get some plugs and sockets that are readliy availible and fit your own. I had to repair mine onece and this is what I did.
