    headlight power......

if i wanted to hook up a pair of 150w lights.......would a 30 amp relay be good enough.......

as going by my calculations.......each light should be drawing 12.5A......
so the relay..... if i ran both on one..... would have 25A running through it.....

my intention is to hook up one 150W light AND one normal headlight (high beam side only) to one relay.......
    i have a double relay......so it should run all 4 lights........in two pairs.......i hope.......

also what size wire would be required.......?

Hi Zook, thats actually only going to be about 20 amp a relay and this should be no problem and leave the 30 fuses in the relay.

    The cable running from the battery's positive terminal to the relay’s common input ( B ) should be at least 8B&S ( 7.9mm2 ) and the cable running from each relay output ( L1 & L2 ) should be 6mm auto ( 4.5mm2 ).

If you only have 6mm auto cable then run two lengths of this from the battery to the relay’s input ( B ).

Don’t forget that you will need to run 6mm auto cable from the neg side of the lights back to the battery’s negative.

    Cheers.
