Thread: CDL actuator Disco2

Just looked at a D2 that I'll buy if I know I can add a manual CDL selector.
I believe that some year models it was not possible to do this. the one I'm looking at is 2001 model.

I was hoping that was the case. I reckon it's an early '01 manufacture. Still, I'll give LR a buzz Monday.
Did you fit the hard linkage, or electric actuator?

I fitted the AMV actuator but would not use that particular system again. The window winder motor is prone to water ingress (and if not used for a while) the water makes it's way into the electric motor and rust seizes the whole thing.

I would get the D2a mechanical linkage - a little more expensive but well worth it as it's pretty bullet proof.
