Head gasket?? Turbo problem???
Good luck and let us know the reason!
hey,
my 300tdi just lost all its power this arvo. i drove it around this morning and it was going really well! Under no load it revs right out with a little whiteish smoke but under load i get no smoke and it fells like i am hitting a rev limiter.
I have recently done a full service, filters, oils, belts and cleaned out sediment catcher.
Where should i start looking for problems?
Lift pump?
hoses?
fuel lines?
Injectors?
Would like to sort out asap as i want to book the ute in for RWC next week I know this wont stop me as if you drive 'normally' it ok but still down on power.
errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
help!!!

whiteish smoke is usually a combustion problem.
Dodgy fuel, dirty injectors or worse.
Start with the easy stuff, eg check turbo hoses first.
Had the one off the turbo blow off just last week, (silicone hoses are slippery little suckers ) but it was a bit obvious with the big whooosh under the bonnet.![]()
is it bled properly ?
how is the lift pump ?
make sure that there are no air leaks in the fuel system too.
De laminated Turbo Charger hose. Check the 90 degree bugger

thanks Stevo, forgot about the stock hose.
given the suddeness I'd be sus about something restricting the air flow If u have to replace em try this.
Silicone Hoses
The fact that it drive normally when not under 3/4 to full load i am think its a turbo hose probelm or the lift pump is on its way out and i have been suss on the 90deg hose right of the turbo from the da 1 it's soft as ****!!! where can i get a hose for it on sunday? autobarn, SCA? Repco? I want me some bling red ones!!
