OK so i am abit ****ed...
Have no spark in my 91 rangie (been that way for a month).
Have replaced dizzy, coil, module, rotor, cap...
The dizzy and loom is from a later style disco with the divorced module running alongside the coil.
I went with this option to also re-route my wiring from the coil to the dizzy which some of you may have noticed was giving me dramas not too long ago.
Still no spark... what do I do now?
I am at my whits end with these fuggen cars, considering selling the lot and just forgetting my rover years.
I have until approximately 7pm today to get my car running as I am ment to be going to north straddie this weekend.
If its not able to go to north straddie then its over for this LR relationship.
Sorry i am just really ****ed with this car right about ten days ago!
Cheers

Ok reguarding alarms...
If i set the alarm (and immobiliser) and turn the key nuthing happenes at all. Deactivate the alarm/immobiliser and the thing turns over but no spark.
Is this enough to say its not due tot he alarm/immobiliser?
Now can I just wire 12V to the positive on the coil direct from the battery to atleast get the vehicle started and drive it to someone who can redo my entire engine bay, returning it to stock, minus the dual battery system.
or does anyone want to buy a range rover or two, cause ill sell these both and look for another one in completely stock condition.
or ill just keep them all and buy a third which will get added to the list of total ****boxes i own.
sorry getting angry again![]()
