Is it lifted? Is it like a rattle/ almost a bearing sounding noise?
Xavier
Hi need some help i have a noise in drive line when coasting down hill at higher speeds 90/100 klms, when i accelerate it goes away and if i completely decelerate it goes away but if i keep my foot lightly on accelerator the noise is there any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks George.

Yes it has a 2" lift and the noise is exactly how you discrbed it.
Did you change any drive line components like the pan hard rod or???
Xavier
Hi Xavier i didn't change any drive line components as i was told only a 2"lift did not require any changes.
George
Yeah, it was a common thought that it would not cause any issues but leave this post up as I know of others who have experienced this problem. I experienced it with only a 1 cm lift, seriously!
Most people seem not to bother doing any thing about it but I hate weird noises so I always feel the need to deal with them.

Possibly front propshaft. Pull it out and go for a drive (lock the centre diff). If the noise / vibe goes away, you have found your culprit.
What year model? Or more to the point, what diff?

it's a 2000 model Salisbury diff
It'll be the front shaft, as Bigjon said, take it off slip it in difflock and go for a drive. To fix the problem, fit a D2 cardan joint shaft and flange.
I have had 3 110 Td5 fenders do this after a relatively minor suspension lift. Seems that the pre Td5 models were not as touchy in this area...maybe LR already dialled in some more caster in the later ones? This would make any sort of lift potentially closer in geometry to a 3 to 4" lift for the early ones?? Just an observation based on experience with one model and the next.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
