Thread: gravity feed spraygun

Yep I hear you there Andy, Ive only had GF guns for painting for probably about 15 years, I only use the venturi guns for chopping out stone guard or stuff that doesnt matter what it looks like because my old Venturi gun is pretty temremental these days, probably due to putting glue through it a while back lol.

Put another 3lts of red oxide on this arvo.Love this spraygun.
If any of you that use a normal gun as I have over the years get one of these gravity feed guns.
Mine was $13 on ebay,including postage was $34!!!!!
I got bugger all paint on myself,its done a top job,didnt have to put up with the compressor thumping away as much as the old gun.AND THE BEST BIT,MOST OF THAT 7 LTS ENDED UP WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE!!!
Next wekend the topcoat goes on.

How big is the trailer????
That is a huge amount of paint.....

most cars only need 4-6 litre of primer before you block them..

But yes the Gravity feed guns are great for anthing you care about... i have a very nice one i bought many years back... $600 i think ... it is great for metalics... and i just use a normal one for everything not topcoat.

Reminds me... i have a Rangie to paint soon.....

I painted EVERYTING inside and out and underneath.
Plenty more surface area there than a normal car.

Love my gravity feed gun's. I bought a pack of 3 from mitre10 $132. 1 for primer (bigger needle) second for topcoat ( small needle ) and the third is a small fine jobs or tough up (tiny needle ) gun . I only have a 40l 2.5 hp compressor and the guns work well with it . Might not be the worlds best guns but it has made the paint stick so i'm happy .
