97 disco aux light switch (driving lights)

    Hi all
The aux light switch (lhs of dash console, 2nd from top) yep that one. want to use it to activate my relay for my driving lights and cant find the plug around headlights. Found one 3 pin plug that has 12v while ever the lights are on but not one that switches off with the switch. What color wires am I looking for (my rangie had a 2 pin plug that did the job)
    cheers

Not sure which switch you are talking about - but on a 97 the front 'fog lights' have a blue and a black wire to them

I assume your refferring to the rear fog lamp switch, which turns on the rear (red) fog lights, when Headlights are on.

The three pin plug behind the headlights, would that be for the self levelling system in the UK?????

If you want I can look up the ETM for you? But am not aware of any existing wiring for driving lights. They are easy to wire in though.

Thanks for the info, the switch I was on about is for the rear fog lamps (just look in the owners manual after reading the post). My disco hasnt got the switch for the front ones (why on earth would you have a rear one and not a front one). I am only going to use the switch to ativate the relay. Any body got the standard switch out of a wrecked disco they want to sell me.
    cheers
