Funny thing though, whne the missu brought ti back on Sunday saying it was worse, I took the air filter out and gave it a bit of a clean, to do that I had to remove the wires from around the air filter box (2 plugs).
After putting it back together and going for a test drive, everything appeared to back to normal with the turbo working fine.
Could it have been a loose plug?
your thoughts please as I was thinking the turbo was dead and I'd be up for squillions.
Dirty MAF sensor and conections would be my guess, get some contact or carby cleaner and clean both connections and the MAF sensor, then let them dry naturally (DO NOT TOUCH THE SENSOR IN THE MAF HOUSING)
