    Ace Cylinder Bushes

I noticed a sometimes clunk when going around corners on the front of my series 2 Disco.

I inspected and found the Ace cylinder bushes on the short arm flogged out.

    Are these hard to change?

    Regards

No, they're easy. It's just a bolt that caps the bush in. I changed all 4 of them (front and rear) to get rid of the clunking. Its the bush between the ACE swaybar and the chassis you mean isn't it?

No Simon, I did those this is on the short arm that actually connect to the hydraulic cylinder.

Hope the new job is treating you well

Ooh, I just had a look. They look similar to the watts linage bushes on the rear suspension. It also looks like it'd need pressing out. First one of those I've heard of going clunky!

The jobs going well. It's a nice change but a lot of work. All part of the fun.
    Cheers
