Thread: How to remove viscous coupling from water pump

    BTW the Viscous Fan is on the timing cover, not the water pump, do you need to remove the fan to get the water pump off, can't remember, that is if it's a 300TDi, Regards Frank.

    No you dont but if you need room to swing its easier to remove it and save the risk of breaking blades.
