    Hello,
I am having the exact same problem. I have the light but the power cord has been misplaced. Did anyone figure out a cheap alternative to this?
    Thanks in advance.

    Its 12V.

    Narva part # 71383

We sell the 71320 light with the 71380 car charger pack at work as an accessory.

    Cheers

    Andrew.

Sadly, there are two things wrong with this reply :
    1. While the 71383 is the correct car charger for the 71302/71395 lamp, the "12V" in its description is merely the nominal car voltage it suits, not its output voltage.
    2. The 71380 car charger that's used with the 71320 lamp is most likely not compatible. The 71320 lamp has lithium batteries, whereas the 71302/71395 lamp has NiMH batteries.

From testing I've done on a 71302 lamp, it seems to charge OK at about 7VDC. It seems to maintain a constant charging current with higher voltages, which means there must be a linear regulator in its charging circuit, and also that any higher voltage will just be increasing the heat dissipated by this regulator, and at some unknown higher voltage, this will overheat.

I'll have to check mine. I need a new battery for it ($63) but is it worth it when one looks at alternative lights from other sources? (I didn't buy the lamp, my son did.)
