    Cruise Control

Has anyone had any cruise control probs? Have a v8i Disco series 1. Cruise works every now and then. Is it a common prob does anyone know and is there a fix for it?

Also I have been reading 4wd action lately and i think I might like to get some more ground height. Is it okay to get a 2 inch sping set and then some spring spacers so I can actually get 4 inches lift? also a body lift kit. is there any major issues in doing that? 6 inch lift be great but then maybe an overkill

I guess then I'd be looking at some muddies and some wider wheels. Do they make the white steel sunraysias for LR disco?

i was looking at things like wheel spacers as well. has anyone tried those and are they safe and bearing friendly? do yo need to cut the guards? and are the flares I sometimes see on these landrovers aftermarket or original.

Oh and last of all. Where can i mount some speakers so I can get better sound? Any ideas?

For Cruise Control - try looking at your vacuum hoses as they split. Just replace them anyway as it is cheap and easy.

For suspension - forget what Nissan and Landcruiser owners tell you as LR's are different and require different setups.

Need to cut guards for 32/33+ and above depending on rims - yes you can get sunraysias, dynamic 4x4 (the brand) has lots of rims for rovers.

Have a read & search here as this has all be covered before in great detail.

    Cheers

    Cruise Control:
I had problems with my cruise control working intermittently. The problem was due to a faulty vacuum advance unit so as DaveS3 suggests, it might be worth just checking the hoses etc.

    Speakers:
I have mounted two 6"x9" speakers behind my cargo barrier - it's still doesn't give you the World's best sound system but it is a massive improvement on the efforts of the little 4" speakers.

Ok no worries. Definitely look it over. Probably test out the 6x9 trick behind the cargo barrier too. Thanks mate
