Remember that there's actually 4x types of head gasket for the 300TDi. The sizing is based on the maximum protrusion of the piston above the face of the block.
As for type... Personally, I'd stick with the genuine part.
However, what I would question is why you'd want to change it. "If it 'aint broke, don't fix it!".
If you do a quick search, there was another thread a couple of weeks ago talking about changing the head gasket as preventative maintenance.

. Have not had a good look as was moving house at the time and was night so just had it towed to the mrs aunties place where it will have to stay till i get back from my shift. Am asuming was the head gasket as was towing heavy trailer (but taking it easy) The temp went off the scale very suddenly and Coolant soaked the bonnet lining above the resivour and was splashed all over the thr RHS of the engine bay. could not see any blowen hoses etc hense my asuming it the head gasket. Any other thoughts?
