Btw - I still need a few more people. The housing along is worth $200 or so rrp. Even if you need to pay a mechanic to fit it, you probably will still be ahead (in terms of intercooler cleaning costs and turbo lifespan).

    Hi Isuzurover,
Is it worth fitting one to a TDV6 (D3). If so, I'm interested in fitting one (perhaps post warranty, in July????).

    Best Wishes,

    Best Wishes,
Hi Peter - it is worth fitting to ANY vehicle, but particularly turbo diesels.

With the provent fitted, your intercooler should stay completely oil free, and your turbocharger won't have soot/ash deposits (from sooty oil which collects then is burnt off) shortening its life.

I have now filled the quota of 50 (in theory), but could use a few reserves.
I have not yet heard from:

I have A 2001 TD5 defender and BLK Knight or (Dave) said my vehicle would be a prime canditate for this.

    Hi Wayne and Gigitt,

In theory I have 50, but 98-110 and Matluma have not yet responded to my PM. So PM me your email address, and if those guys haven't responded by the end of the week I will add you guys in.

Bear with me proffesor. Our printer only works when the boy sorts it.
If not I agree to all of your provisions.
The D2 has to go thru a heap of "fix ups" real soon so your test will fit in real well.

Andy - you are picking up aren't you? If so, I can give you a form to sign when you come up. Alternately, I may be able to deliver in exchange for some firewood (have husky - can cut it myself).

But I seem to remember something about your firewood supply going up in flames?
