    Steering Column bushes 1976 Rangie

    Hi all,

    My 2 door has a lot of slop in both top and bottom steering column bushes, bottom one being worst. So bad is the bottom one I suspect I will fail the up coming road worthy. I can purchase top bushes at great expense, but not bottom. Is it possible to repair the bottom bush, or should I just go hunting for a good second hand column?

    If I go for second hand, what model rangies will fit, and will Disco Series 1 also fit?

    I'm in Blackburn, Melbourne, thanks for any help..

    Better off finding a replacement from a wrecker. Any Rangie or Disco up to D3 should work. ( I can vouch for Disco 1, and I'm guessing about D2 - but it should work)
