Thread: noisy left-hand rear backrest in d2

i dont quite follow sorry. all i can see is that there is a lever on top of the seat that u lift, to allow the seatback to fold forwards. then u just lift the rear of the seatbase to have the whole thing fold up to the front seats. has hinges on the floor-front of seatbase.

Sorry the phone pic isn't very clear (and neither was my rushed explanation), but if you squint you'll see the (now deformed) foam strip stuck to the rubber(?) block on the side of the seatback, which takes up the tolerance to the pin and stops the rattle. I already had a roll of it but I'm sure it wasn't exxy and among other things you could use it on your esky or fridge as a secondary lid seal.
