vacume hose through fire wall for cruise control

Hi there, i own a 95 Disco 3.9 V8 and i was basically tracing and cutting out the split leaking ends of the vacume hoses under the bonnet in an attempt to get the cruise control to work. I found the vacume hose that goes through the fire wall into the cab was disconnected and just hanging above the pedals where your feet go and am buggered if i can find where it attaches in the cab.
Any guidance would be much appreciated. Hoping to avoid un-necesarily pulling things appart.
    Cheers

There are vacuum switches on the clutch and brake pedals. When the vacuum is released the cruise control cuts out. So if they are not connected the cruise control will not work.

It could be missing but that is where the pipe should go.
