Angus,

Hey All
I have been planning to get a set of Firestone airbags for the rear of the disco for an up coming Simpson trip. I had ordered them from truckspring.com but the shipment has been delayed as apparently Friestone are backlogged and havent shipped any to truckspring. I need them within the next 2-3 weeks.
I have checked the price with airbagman.com.au, but they are charging three and a half times the price of what I can get them from the States. $350 plus 30 odd bucks for delivery is highway robbery wen I can get them here from the States for just over $150!!
So, the big question is. Does anyone know anywhere else where I can order them from? I have beens searching for USA based sites similar to truckspring in the hope that they may have the Disco kits in stock.
Cheers
Angus

What's the general consensus of opinion re: polyairs v firestone.
Pros and cons etc.
Cheers
i have heard of people using tennis balls as a quick fix
which way are you doing the simpson....look forward to the trip report
I have a brand new set I bought from truckspring a couple of years agofor a rangie sitting in the garage. I would assume the disco and rangie sets are the same. You are welcome to try them if you like as I dont need them at present. You can have them for what ever the price is from truckspring. It will free up some space in my way to small garage.
Ian
You could try airbagman in Brissy.Welcome to Airbag Man. i bought a set last year for my D2 and opted for the Dunlops w/o any issues - reported to be more reliable than the OEM's.
