Disco 2 V8 sequential gas injection?
Anyone done a sequential injection LPG conversion to a Series 2 V8 disco? I am curious to know about the economy achieved, and how that compares to the petrol economy.
A mate of mine just got sequential gas injection on his VZ Common-dore ute, but (astoundingly) gets better mileage out of his gas injection than from Petrol, i.e. about 11 litres per 100 km on gas around town, with petrol about 12 or so. That's pretty astounding.
It seems to me that the gas injection systems poo all over the old-school BBQ cooker systems from a great height.

he must be pretty lite on the right foot
have haerd seqential is a lot better but depends on type of vehicle
& is a lot more expensive to fit
our work vans are not sequential & they average 15l/100around town on lpg & 13-14/100k on fuel.they are pretty well loaded as well around 800-900kg over empty weight
i think we will have to go to seq. for the newer model due to emmission regs.
i would go for seq. if there is a good fuel saveing ,it will never go down in price & also if u intend keeping vehicle for a while
cheers

My sequential does about 1l/100k more than petrol. No power loss that I can tell.
